Launched by the ministry of women's, Family, Childhood and Elderly Affairs, this website is the result of Tunisian before its time politic toward women, which the fundamental principale is to include all social categories and under a socio-economic background praising solidarity.
In order to promote craftswomen and to improve their income, the ministry undertook actions aiming to reach this goal.
Among these actions : organizing annual exhibition for craftswomen during which many training sessions are held.
This exhibition contributed, through its previous 8 editions, in promoting craftswomen contribution, in endowing them with a know how in management and setting up a winning prizes to encourage them.
The website is build with the collaboration of many governmental partners : Ministry of trade and handicrats, Ministry of Communication Technologies and also with many representatives of Civil Society.
Under a solidarity spirit matching its goals and objectives, 'International Solidarity Association' ASI / [NGO] will manage the website and will take in charge : collecting, storage, and online sale of handicraft products.
